As the supply of COVID-19 vaccines becomes increasingly sufficient, many women who are preparing for pregnancy or are currently pregnant have been asking questions about vaccination. BRCIVF has summarized the following recommendations:
📌 For women preparing for pregnancy or pregnant women who are at high risk of exposure, vaccination is generally recommended when the benefits outweigh the risks.
📌 For pregnant women receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, mRNA vaccines are generally preferred. The vaccines currently approved by the government include BNT and Moderna, and pregnant women may prioritize these options.
📌 With more Moderna vaccines arriving in Taiwan recently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare is also considering opening vaccination access for pregnant women. Please stay updated with the latest information.
