However, the best method for endometrial preparation and luteal support has not yet reached a clear consensus.
According to international reports, during blastocyst-stage embryo transfer, D5–D6, if the blood progesterone level is below 8.75 ng/ml, timely progesterone supplementation with a 25 mg subcutaneous injection can make up for the progesterone deficiency at that time.
The pregnancy rate can be comparable to that of the control group with progesterone levels above 8.75 ng/ml.
This method is called the Luteal Phase Rescue Protocol.
It is indeed a practical and convenient way to support the endometrium and luteal phase.
