Taipei City Increases Childbirth Subsidies in 2025!
Starting next year, Taipei City will introduce new subsidies for assisted reproduction, medical egg freezing, and NIPT, providing additional support for one of life’s most important journeys.

Subsidy Items:
1. IVF Treatment
A subsidy of NT$25,000 is provided. Either spouse of an infertile couple must be registered as a resident of Taipei City, and the person receiving embryo implantation must be 44 years old or younger. The subsidy is available once per year. Citizens may prepare the required documents and apply online through the Taipei Citizen Service Platform within 6 months after the treatment is completed.
2. Medical Egg Freezing for Cancer Patients
A one-time lifetime subsidy is available, with a maximum subsidy of NT$32,000.
3. Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing NIPT
NIPT is included as one of the subsidized options for Down syndrome screening during pregnancy. A fixed subsidy of NT$2,500 is provided per case, and the test must be performed at designated contracted medical institutions.
