Every Mother and Every New Life Is the Most Precious Bond.
For an obstetrician and gynecologist, delivering babies has always been one of the most fundamental and important responsibilities.
In recent years, because I have had dozens of gynecologic surgeries each month, along with a significant increase in clinical work related to reproductive endocrinology, the number of natural deliveries I attend has become relatively lower.
Aside from acquaintances and colleagues from the hospital who come to me to arrange cesarean deliveries, the proportion of obstetric cases has indeed decreased compared with before.
Even so, I have always deeply cherished every mother I have had the privilege to meet.
Especially when mothers return to see me after a smooth delivery, bringing their children with them, and I see the little babies growing up safely and healthily, that moment truly moves me.
Being able to take part in a family’s major life event of welcoming a new life is a great honor to me, and also a very simple kind of happiness.
The baby was so sweet that day and even held my hand 😍
