At the same time, because ovulation induction medications are used, the number of ovulated eggs may increase.
As a result, the pregnancy rate can increase to 14–18%.
However, as age increases, the success rate of IUI also decreases.
If the couple proceeds with IVF, only good-quality embryos cultured after egg retrieval are selected for transfer into the uterus.
Therefore, as long as endometrial receptivity is suitable, the pregnancy rate for frozen embryo transfer in women under 35 years old can reach 58%.
Natural conception through intercourse, IUI, and IVF become progressively more complex and more expensive.
However, the more complex and costly the treatment, the more steps can be controlled, and therefore the pregnancy rate becomes higher.
